FIND YOUR CAR
Choose your favourite car from the list of cars for sale at the auction. Auctions take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. New lots are announced every week.
Check the price in the archive. You can check the sale price of a similar car you like at previous sales in our price archive. You can do this by setting the desired filters in the search engine fields.
In this system you will see the prices of cars sold at auctions in Japanese Yen (JP¥), and you will also see the price in € already in Lithuania, including all auction, commission, export, import and transport fees to Lithuania.
If you can’t find a sale price for the car you are looking for, please contact us and we will be happy to help you and send you information with a preliminary price and a description of the car’s condition within 24 hours.

By entering the desired amount in the table JP¥, the system will automatically calculate the preliminary price in € already in Lithuania, including all taxes and transport to the city of your choice in Lithuania.
Please note that Japanese auctions are attended by locals, as well as people and companies involved in the car trade from all over the world, so prices may only fluctuate by about 10-20% from the prices you see in the archive.
We recommend that you save your time and ours and don’t bother with very low bids!
PAY THE DEPOSIT
If you have found a car you like, please get in touch and offer your bid for the auction. Of course, the car can be bought for a lower price, and we will close the auction if your bid exceeds the amount offered. We will provide you with a report of the auction sale after the auction, which will show you the amount of the sale in Japanese Yen.
Once you have paid the deposit of your bid price, please wait for the auction. If the auction is unsuccessful, the deposit will be refunded or can be kept as a deposit for future purchases.
Deposits are paid in the following order:
- 13% depzositis. Charged for a car costing up to JP¥5mm (€30,000).
- 20% Depositosis. Payable for a car costing between JP¥5 – 10mm (€30,000 – 60,000).
- 25% desmositis. Payable for a car costing between JP¥10 – 25mm (€60,000 – 150,000).
*** Deposits are non-refundable if you win the auction but do not pay your invoice. The car remains at auction and will be sold at future sales.
*** It is possible to have an additional technical examination of the car before the auction starts. The price of this service is 50€.
*** We provide the opportunity to watch the auction live via ”Video call”. Please note that due to the time zone difference, the Japanese auctions start at 03.00. Lithuanian time!
AFTER WINNING THE AUCTION, PAY THE REST
If you win an auction, we send you a statement showing the final price of the purchase. You will receive an invoice for the car shortly afterwards, which must be paid within 24 hours.
***Deposits are non-refundable in the event of non-payment of the invoice. The car will remain at auction and will be sold at future sales.
TRANSPORT BY SEA
Once the money order is received, the winning car is transported from the auction house to our partners’ storage yard in the nearest port within 6 working days, awaiting loading onto the ferry. Once the car arrives at the storage yard, we will send you additional photos of the parked car. The cars travel on special RO-RO ferries designed to transport cars, unlike in the United States, cars are not loaded into containers. Only very expensive cars are loaded into containers, or by special order of the customer.
If a place is found on the RO-RO ferry, an additional invoice for transporting the car is issued. Prices may vary from month to month depending on the load. Preliminary price is 180$/m3. You can easily calculate the approximate cost of the transhipment yourself by finding the technical data of the car on the internet and multiplying the length, width and height of the car by $190.
The procedure of declaring the export and loading the car on the ferry takes about 2 to 4 weeks.
The ferry loading will be confirmed by a document sent by BILL OF LADING transport lines, which will indicate the car, the date of loading, the place of loading, the name of the ship and the port of destination.
The ferry will take about 8 weeks to reach a port in Holland or Belgium.
By typing the name of the ferry into a google search, you can find the location of the ferry.
CUSTOM TAX
Once the car arrives in Europe, the import declaration procedures are completed within 5 working days, which Cloudauto will also take care of.
CAR DELIVERY BY CARRIER
We find a car carrier for your car. The cost of the transport is between 600 and 800 euros, depending on the country where the ferry has arrived (Holland or Belgium) and where in Lithuania the car has to be taken. You also don’t have to worry about transport to the city of your choice, Cloudauto will take care of everything.
